CDT Week 2023 Summary

We recently completed another eventful CDT week with candidates from cohort 2 to cohort 5. Monday saw our most recent intake visit the Hydrogen Homes in Thornley. On tuesday we got some insights on Lithium with presentations from Northern Lithium, Oxford Instruments and Alexander Dennis. This was followed by a discussion on circular economy. A packed day where cohort 2 gaves us some fantastic snapshot of their research in 2min and cohort 4 presented their whole energy system projects. On thursday technical presentation from Cohort 3 showcased the breadth of research across ReNU. The week concluded with some training from NUSTEM and the Royal Society of Chemistry.
